Maintains restored depot and makes it available for rental. No dues. Meetings typically first Wed. 5 p.m.

German Social Club

German natives and enthusiasts meet for socializing and language practice last Sat. 1 p.m., Wolverine Food & Spirits, 20460 W. Old US-12.

Preservation Chelsea

Works to preserve Chelsea’s landmarks and educate the public about local history. Members exchange tips on home renovation. No dues. Call for meeting times and locations.

Waterloo Natural History Association

Supports natural history programs, helps maintain trails, operates gift shop, and raises funds for improvements at the Waterloo Recreation Area. Sponsors Maple Sugar Festival every other year and weekly walks and presentations. Annual dues $5–$20. www.wnha.org
