Trustees: Cynthia Dresch, Patrick DuRussel, Jordan Herron, James Holland, Kari Newman. Council members earn $50 per meeting attended, president earns $185 per meeting attended. Village elections are held annually on the second Tues. in Sept. of odd-numbered years (Sept. 8, 2009). Residents may register to vote at the village offices, 912 City Rd.; at area township halls; at any Michigan Secretary of State office (the nearest is at 1113 S. Main, Chelsea); or online at michigan.gov/sos. To vote, you must register your current address at least 30 days before the election.
