AATA RideShare carpool/vanpool service

The Ann Arbor Transportation Authority operates a free carpool matching service for commuters traveling into or within Washtenaw County, in conjunction with the Michigan Rideshare program of the Michigan Department of Transportation and Michivan. www.theride.org/rideshare

Milan Public Transit

Operates Ride Saline shared-ride bus service Mon.–Fri. 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., except major holidays, by prior reservation. One-way fare for trips within Saline is $2; one-way fare to connect with AATA’s route 16 at the Meijer on Ann–Arbor–Saline Rd. is $3.75. Senior citizens, people with disabilities, and K–12 students pay $1 for in-city trips and $1.75 for the latter trip. To place your reservation, call 439–2457 one day to two weeks in advance.

Municipal parking

Saline has five municipal lots downtown, accessible from Michigan Ave., Ann Arbor St., Henry St., and W. McKay St. Look for the green P signs. Parking on nearby residential streets is also available.
