Community Fair. Sept. 1–6, 2008. Old-fashioned community fair at the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds features agricultural and craft exhibits, livestock judging, horse shows, talent contests, tractor pulls, carnival rides, Miss Saline pageant, and more. www.salinefair.org
Harvest of Arts Oktoberfest. Sept. 27, 2008. German activities, music, food, and drink; an art fair, bake sale, and Saline Firefighters chili cookoff all in downtown Saline.
